A House from the Nature Material Wood can have many Designations: Blockhouse, Block Plank House, Summer-house, Timber Building, Block Hut, Round Plank House, Round Trunk house and and. But which is actually which?

Here a short Explanation:
Ein Blockhouse or Block Plank House is a somewhat more specific Name for the extensively used Terms Timber Building or Summer-house. Blockhouses and/or Block Plank Houses are Buildings, which out one above the other set Wood Trunks and/or - bars are built. For the Walls either Round Planks are used (Round Plank House or Round Trunk house) or Square Planks, which are particularly glued starting from a higher Wall Thickness. The individual Elements are Connected in each case by means of (double) Groove and Feder.

Blockhouses are established in the whole World since thousands of Years. Originally the Walls from raw or worked on laminated Trunks were established one above the other. 

In the today's Time the Block Plank Building Method is not for a long time only used for Houses. A Block Plank House can be a small Tool shed, a Summer-house, Holiday House or also a Sauna.
